Meet The Principal of The Firm

The principal of the firm, Stephen H.Sturgeon, MBA, JD has been successfully representing clients since 1977. Initially his specialty was business law. Then as computer law grew in importance, he increasingly specialized in legal issues encountered by computer and high-tech companies. During the recent phenomenal growth of e-commerce, Mr.Sturgeon has assisted clients with internet law issues and domain name disputes. Clients have found his experience with business law, negotiations and computer-related issues to be invaluable in domain name disputes and internet law issues.

Mr.Sturgeon has worked with a major Washington, DC law firm and has designed this firm to utilize many of the techniques of large firms while maintaining the efficiency and flexibility of a smaller firm. He believes that as the practice of law has been evolving (with the increasing importance of computerization, on-line legal research facilities, telecommunications and the internet), smaller law firms can very efficiently and effectively represent clients – often more effectively than the large firms.

Mr.Sturgeon and his associates in Washington, DC provide the solid core of the law firm’s operations. This core of expertise is then supplemented by affiliations with other lawyers throughout the United States and around the world.
